"2004: A Renewable Energy" - sound installation

The sound installation is a work of art, solely created for the emotional communication of renewable energies.

The topic of self renewable energies has been translated into a dramaturgically reworked presentation by the composer Markus Gronostay:

In the course of five sound passages referring to the respective energy forms ever new structures result. Sounds that can be easily associated with the single energy forms (e.g. rotation of a wind engine, a voltage buzz, NASA sun activity streams) are used as sound components. These sounds have been selected or created exclusively for this audio installation and were optimised and reworked in view of both a harmonic and rhythmic context.

The playback via sound converters integrated into the bench gets under the skin without disturbing the ambience. The acoustical experience of energy offers an almost inexhaustible potential for creativity. Thus, for instance, a sound installation regarding the topic of football has been created. Another project develops a sound installation that reacts to changes of the weather.
